The AIC has contracted with Battle Creek Unlimited (BCU) for staffing and management services.  Two full-time BCU staff members are dedicated to AIC operations.

A benefit of the partnership with BCU, is that the AIC is supported by the President and CEO of Battle Creek Unlimited and seventeen additional full-time staff members with marketing, economic development, loan fund management, event management, and facilitation experience. The AIC’s partnership with BCU provides an instant and credible gateway to the business, manufacturing, education and non-profit communities across Calhoun County.

This partnership significantly strengthens the AIC’s scope of influence at the “countywide leadership table”. The new strategic direction of the organization has been supported, not only by BCU, but the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Battle Creek Community Foundation, Marshall and Albion Economic Development Offices, the existing arts community, artists, and the business community alike.
